The screws on my umbrella base does not line up with the base plate. I have sent photos and a request for a base place that will fit my umbrella. It will take 5-10 days for a response. It’s been difficult to get this taken care of, with long wait times on the phone and several phone calls and follow ups. I hope under normal circumstances that customer service is better.

Granby, CT 7-10-2020We paired this mount with the Treasure Garden AKZ PLUS 13 Foot Octagon Infinite Tilt and Lock Cantilever Umbrella and are very happy we did. It reduced that ground footprint considerably. It is very permanent (very). So we took literally hours measuring and considering the angle of the sun relative to the various umbrella tilt directions, etc. to ensure we would get maximum use out of the umbrella. Planning is everything.
The base itself if pretty straight forward, something any home fabricator/welder could whip together in an afternoon. The mount consists of a ~9 inch diameter disk that is drilled and threaded to accept hardware from the umbrella. An ~18-inch long pipe is welded to the underside of the disk with some support fins included for anchoring into the cement. I installed a 4-foot long by 10-wide sonotube in my patio to complete the install. Setting the mount in the cement takes time. Even though mine was near perfectly level I still had to install a 1/16th" shim upon umbrella installation to get things perfectly square. Given the 10+ foot length of the umbrella assembly, any deviation from level has big results over the length of the umbrella.
One item to consider - The alternative sand or gravel filled base is pretty thick whereas the ground base typically sits flush to the ground. As this will lower the umbrella compared to the plastic base it usually comes with I opted to set the sonotube above grade by roughly 6 inches to help gain some of the height back. This worked out great in my situation and put the umbrella at a perfect height when open. If I hadn't done this the umbrella would have been to low to open over tables and chairs.
Overall nice part - 3.5 stars as it's very costly for what you get.

Rocky River , OH 4-23-2020We have a smaller umbrella, I believe the 9’ or 10’ diameter, and in the description I was thinking it would fit any of their sized cantilever umbrellas. Which is a true statement but the smaller umbrellas use a 4 bolt pattern and this kit comes with a 5 bolt pattern. So I had to machine a 4 bolt pattern, no big deal on the Bridgeport, but who would have one if they need to modify this plate. So if I were to offer any input on this kit I would include the 4 lug pattern so it would 100% fit all applications. If anyone is wondering the holes are taped M8 1.25 at 1.766 spacing from center point. ????
