I live in the hot dessert area of Arizona and my furniture is exposed to the direct sun all day. My previous Tropitone cushions were 15 years old. I finally broke down and replaced them all - mostly as a way to redecorate and give my courtyard a new look. They were still holding up, but they needed a sprucing up after years in the bright and hot Arizona sun. The cushions are beautiful and also the most comfortable furniture I own.
