Alamo, CA10-20-2020The stands are solid and well made and easily support out 11' umbrellas. The issue we had was that shipping a 120lb. steel plate via UPS does not go well. Both of the stands we ordered arrived with the boxes barely holding together and then as we feared, several corners of the stands were damaged. I give 5 STARS to Luxe Decor's Customer Service for how they handled the issue, 4 STARS for the packaging and shipping method. The customer service was prompt and effective, making me a return customer despite the issue. I may reconsider shipping extremely heavy products such as these, but I would certainly buy other products from Luxe Decor again.

CA 9-18-2019This is a very heavy base and the wheels make it easily moveable. I had forgotten the umbrellas open with strong winds and the umbrellas stayed upright. I bought 5 of these and they are very expensive, however prior to these bases I had 3 umbrellas boken from winds when I had standard (properly sized) umbrellas bases. So it will be safer from an umbrella tipping over on someone and save money from broken umbrellas. In the long run...they are worth it!
ONLY issue is, they come with two swivel wheels and two non swivel. This makes it difficult to maneuver since you have to go in the direction of the non-swivel wheels. I had contacted PatioLiving and they helped me by getting me swivel wheels from the supplier to change out for the non swivel ones. I think the manufacturer should offer the consumer a choice of ALL swivel wheels. If that was an option upon ordering, I would have giving it a 5 star. Thank you PatioLiving for promptly addressing the issue.
