The Elena is a simple column lamp which rises to a medium height from a flaring turned base that is hand-cerused. The column itself has two bands of vertically, hand-incised lines that add craft, texture and interest. The bands get a rich, brushy drag of deep hues to create an abstract pattern that brings color, warmth and a modern Japanese spirit to this classic design.
