  • 3.0 out of 5.0     Misleading website, long lead time, low-quality fabric Lisa from  Rancho Murieta, CA 10-1-2020 This is the 3rd Treasure Garden Shanghai umbrella we've owned. The first 2 were bought in person at local outdoor garden shops. Believing we knew what we'd get, I ordered this one online. The photos on the website look the ones we bought in person - with sturdy Sunbrella fabric, even the little checker pattern showed up. So, I chose what I thought was a Sunbrella fabric named "Obravia Red" - based on the photos and the display of fabric swatches, which all started with "Obravia." When we finally got the finished umbrella (almost THREE MONTHS after ordered), we were shocked to find that the fabric is not Sunbrella and seems very thin and cheap. Light shows through at the stitching because it's so thin. Coming back to the website to see if I ordered incorrectly, I see that the Information link doesn't list "obravia" as a fabric they offer. And, I had to click "All Fabrics" to see and select the Sunbrella red that matches the photo they show. This seems deliberately shady to me. For an umbrella this expensive, the fabric should be better quality. BE CAREFUL what you order!
