These umbrellas are heavy duty compared to others I've had. I purchased this set of two with the optional 2nd wind flap. Definitely performs better in high winds than one flap. Sunbrella fabric is almost canvas like which should be very durable. Only criticism is with the cranking mechanism. It is somewhat stiff to operate.
